Vitla: Auto-rickshaw driver dies of heart attack

Vitla: In a tragic incident, an auto-rickshaw driver died due to a cardiac arrest while dropping children to school on November 9.

The deceased has been identified as Jayakar Poojary (45), a resident of Kalladka.

As usual, Poojary was on a trip to drop off school children. He had stopped the vehicle near Mani as one of the children to get photocopies. When the children returned they found Poojary unconscious, sources said.

He was rushed to a nearby clinic, where the doctor declared him brought dead, sources said.
