Vitla: Case filed against youth for provocative comment against Muslim community

Vitla: A case has been registered against youth at the Vitla police station for allegedly posting a provocative comment on social media against the bridegroom who allegedly dressed as Hindu deity Koragajja and danced with friends during his wedding reception, recently.

The accused is Vishnu Prasad Niddaje, an employee of a private bank in Mangaluru.

Recently, a Muslim man was dressed as ‘Koragajja Daiva’ during his wedding celebrations at Kolnadu village, Bantwal Taluk. The video of the incident went viral and drew the ire of many for insulting one of the most revered daiva of Tulunadu.

After the video went viral Vishnu Prasad Niddaje shared a provocative comment against the Muslim community.
