Vitla: Case registered against youths for assaulting and threatening minor girl

Vitla: An incident of two youths allegedly assaulting a minor girl and threatening to publish obscene photos of her was reported from Bolantur village here.

A case has been registered against the two under the POSCO Act at Vitla police station.

The girl, a resident of Bolantur, was called over the phone by the two and asked to come out of the house. When she did, they allegedly sexually assaulted her and shot nude photos of her on their mobile phone.

On the threat of sharing those photos they repeatedly harassed her, the girl mentioned in the complaint registered with the police.
