Vitla: A migrant worker from Uttar Pradesh died after falling off an under-construction building here.
The deceased has been identified as Jaya Prakash (25), a laborer from Pipra Goom in Lucknow. The accident occurred at the construction site of the hall at a church here on April 26.
Jaya Prakash, who was seriously injured, was rushed to a private hospital, but passed away without responding to treatment, sources said.
It is gathered that works are afoot to return the mortal remains to his hometown for last rites.
