Vitla: A bike rider was killed while the pillion rider sustained injuries after their bike rammed into a lorry coming from the opposite direction, at Vitla-Puttur road in Kamabalabettu.
The deceased is identified as Ismail hailing from Belthangady.
As per reports, the lorry moving from Puttur towards Vitla rammed into the bike thereby flunging Ismail and pillion rider on the street. Ismail died on the spot while the other person was rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru.
It was also revealed that the bike belonged to a person named Abbas.
