Vitla: Six injured in car-scooter collision

Vitla: Six persons were injured in a collision between a car and a two-wheeler at the Mani-Kodaje border.

The car that was moving towards Sullia from Mangaluru, collided head-on with the oncoming scooter. The scooter was mangled beyond recognition in the crash.

The injured were rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru. Two among the injured — identified as Vidya (20) and Chaitra (23) from Jalsur, Delampadi — sustained serious injuries.

It is gathered that Chaitra and others in the car were returning from Mangaluru after shopping for her wedding attire.
