Vitla: Thieves break into petrol bunk office; steal items worth lakhs

Vitla: An incident of robbery was reported from the Essar refuelling station at Urimajalu on the Vitla- Puttur road.
Thieves broke into the office of the station and stole computers and CCTV equipment.
They also smashed things in the office and stole other items worth Rs 2 lakhs.
Vitla police station officials have arrived at the scene and have started an investigation.
Some time ago, thieves had also broken into the Essar refuelling station at Kuddupadavi.
