Vittal: Bajrang Dal members halt illegal cattle transport

Team Udayavani, Oct 22, 2024, 8:07 AM IST

Acting on information about the illegal transport of cattle into Kerala, Bajrang Dal activists intercepted a vehicle near Manila and alerted the Vittal police. Upon investigation, the police found that two cattle had been sold by a local individual, claiming they were purchased for rearing purposes.

However, the police noted that the necessary transport permits were not in place. As a result, the cattle were sent back to the seller’s residence. The Vittal police instructed that any future transportation must comply with legal documentation.

No case has been registered in connection with this incident, police officials confirmed.
