Vittal: Two men caught red-handed dumping garbage; handed over to police

Vittal: Two men were caught red-handed by locals in Mani while they were dumping garbage on the roadside on Monday, September 13. They were later handed over to the police.
It is said that the men were employees of a local hotel. They apparently dumped garbage on the roadside on a daily basis.
On Monday night, the locals stopped the men as they were dumping food waste and other garbage and informed the police.
Police officials took them into custody.
