Mangaluru: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has strongly condemned the shocking revelation that animal fat and fish oil were used in the preparation of the renowned Tirupati Venkateswara temple’s sacred Laddu Prasadam.
The VHP has called for a thorough investigation by the CBI to bring those responsible to justice.
The discovery of these non-vegetarian ingredients in the Laddu Prasadam, which is considered holy by millions of Hindus worldwide, has deeply hurt the religious sentiments of devotees.
The Laddu, offered to Lord Venkateswara, is revered by Balaji’s devotees who accept it with great sanctity. The use of cow fat and fish oil in its preparation has caused immense pain to the devotees.
In a statement, VHP District President H.K. Purushotham demanded swift action, urging the authorities to identify those responsible for this act and punish them severely.
He emphasized the need for a CBI investigation to ensure that the culprits involved in this grave offense are brought to justice.
