Voting underway in Jayanagar constituency

Bengaluru: Over two lakh voters in Jayanagar constituency will be casting their votes today.

Jayanagar is one of the two constituencies in the State where polling was deferred by the Election Commission.

Jayanagar constituency was countermanded after the death of incumbent MLA and BJP candidate B.N. Vijay Kumar.

Jayanagar is the last of the constituencies to go to polls.

A total of 216 polling booths in seven wards in the constituency, among which five are pink booths.
