Walk-in cooler readied in Udupi to store Covid-19 vaccines

Udupi: A walk-in cooler room has been prepared in Udupi to store Covid-19 vaccines after several countries have begun testing vaccines to prevent Covid-19

The walk-in cooler has been prepared in the office of district health and family welfare department. It can store around 2.28 crore doses of vaccines

It is said that while storing the vaccine one must maintain the temperature between 2 and 8 degrees during transport, storage and distribution of the vaccine and 77 cold chain system places have been identified for the purpose.
