‘Walk in Harmony’ will be held on December 12

Mangaluru: Walk in Harmony event will be held between Farangipete to Mani on Tuesday.

Addressing the media Rai said, “Members such as CPI Leader Sriram Reddy, Shridhar Gowda and Actor Prakash will participate in the walk for harmony walk from Farangipete to Mani on December 12. The stage at Mani will be named after Harish Poojary. Dakshina Kannada has been always known for peace and harmony, but some communal forces have created disturbances which have harmed the reputation of the district. This walk is not being organised under the banner of any political party and is open to all peace-loving citizens. 

Minister U T Khader, district Congress president Harish Kumar, CPIM district secretary Vasanth Acharya, Dalit leader Devdas, DYFI district president Muneer Katipalla and others were present.
