Watch: Karnataka’s first floating bridge at Malpe breaks into pieces!

Karnataka’s first floating bridge inaugurated at Malpe beach here has broken into peices days after it was open for the public.
The video of the broken floating bridge is now doing rounds on social media platforms.
The bridge was inaugurated by Udupi MLA K Raghupathi Bhat on May 6.

The 100-meter long and 3-meter wide bridge had been made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) blocks that float on water and had been put up at a cost of Rs 80 lakh.
However, the bridge can be easily relocated as it is not a permanently attached structure.
