Bengaluru: Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda advised Chief Minister Kumaraswamy to keep a track of the coalition governments performance since the BJP, he believed was putting in efforts to topple the government.
Deve Gowda asked Kumaraswamy to keep an eye on each and every movement of the BJP party at a late-night meeting held between the two to discuss problems faced by the sugarcane cultivators.
Facing attack from opposition party for failure to address the farmers problem, Kumaraswamy is said to have sought advice from his father to resolve the issue.
Notably, Kumaraswamy is in a dilemma because the agitating farmers are demanding settlement of dues from sugar factory owners, most of which belong to his coalition ally leaders.
Meanwhile, Gowda is said to have warned Kumaraswamy to be careful of the words he uses when he is on a public platform. The advise comes shortly after Kumaraswamy faced a lot of flak fro insulting a woman farmer.
