Water enters Kamalashile Sri Brahmari temple

Kundapur: Heavy rain lashed Udupi on Tuesday. Low lying areas have been inundated. 

Water entered into the sanctum sanctorum of Kamalashile Sri Brahmi Durgaparameshwari Temple at Kamalashile, in Kundapur of Udupi District. 

Pictures and vidoes where devotees are seen standing in flooded water has been widely spread. 

Flood like situation was also seen at various low lying areas and paddy fields in different parts of the district.

A few houses are inundated near Barkur Bridge. Farmland at Uppooru is marooned. The Uppooru government school is flooded too.
