Water Level in Harangi Reservoir Reaches its Maximum Level after Heavy Rainfall

Somwarpet: Following recent rainfall activities in Kodagu district and its neighbouring regions, water level in Harangi reservoir has recorded a steep up-tick with an outflow of 1200 cusec on Saturday. Maximum storage level of the reservoir is 2859 feet and water storage level has reached to 2855.85 feet as on July 22.
Inflow of water in the reservoir was seen at 8500 cusec on Sunday morning and water was released from four cluster gates of the reservoir after water level reached almost its maximum level.
