Mangaluru: Jalasiri, the Rs 792.4 crore drinking water project in the city will also have a 24×7 customer helpline informed Suez India Private Limited officials.
Suez India has been given the contract to implement the city-wide drinking water project.
The officials stated that the company will solve all issues related to water supply in the city at any time of the day.
The Jalasiri project involves building more than 20 waterage storage tanks, 40 km of pipelines to connect these tanks, additional underground sumps, eight pump houses, 80 MLD capacity purification plant and replacing 25 km of existing pipelines.
In addition to all this, Suez India will use a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software and hardware system to monitor and process real-time data of the water supply from the Thumbe dam to all storage areas.
