Belagavi: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated that the government is taking the case of actor Darshan and others receiving royal treatment in Parappana Agrahara prison seriously.

Speaking to reporters at Belagavi Airport on Monday (August 26), Siddaramaiah said, “We are neither for nor against Darshan.” He confirmed that seven officers have already been suspended in connection with the case.

The Chief Minister also instructed the Director General of Police (DGP) to immediately transfer Darshan and others to different prisons and provide a complete report after visiting the prison.

The Home Minister will also visit the prison and take necessary action based on the report, Siddaramaiah added.
