Mangaluru: Kavoor police personnel arrested a youth after he was found to be in possession of 350 grams of ganja worth Rs 6,500 from near Panjimogaru here.

Mohammed Aashir, 23, a resident of Panjimogaru has been booked under NDPS Act.

It is gathered that Ashir was selling ganja to the general public near Raghavendra Math of Udundadi under Panjimogaru village.

Meanwhile, city police commissioner Dr Harsha in a tweet said: “Another arrest.. 73 so far.. Mohammed Ashir arrested 350 grams Ganja seized .. NDPS case registered in kavoor ps limits..we will go as far as it takes to root out this menace.”
