Weekend Fun Ends in Tragedy as 5 of Same Family Drown in Karwar

Karwar: Five members of a same family drowned when they were spending their weekend at Nagarmadi waterfall located near Karwar town on Sunday. Five women including a man of a family from Madgaon of Goa reportedly drowned and identity of the deceased is yet to be known. The dead body of a woman has been recovered while operations are being conducted to recover the remaining dead bodies.
The family reached the tourist spot Nagarmadi to spend the weekend. Unfortunately, the weekend fun ended in a tragedy with five deaths. Karwar rural police registered a case on the incident.
