We’ll soon sort out all legal hurdles faced by Bhovi community: CM Bommai

Davangere:  Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has promised the Bhovi community of amending the mining laws, in favour of the community.

Addressing a gathering at Shivayoga Temple on Monday, he said, “In order to facilitate the lives of Bohovi community people, our government will amend the mining laws in the coming Assembly session. We will see to that the community gets more opportunities and facilities in the field of mining”.

“We have also observed that there are some laws which have distressed the community. Several officers have also troubled them in the name of the law. We will try and sort out all the legal hurdles that the community is facing”, he added.

Meanwhile, he has assured the community of soon appointing a new president for the Karnataka Bhovi Development Corporation.
