Chitradurga: Minister of Animal Husbandry Prabhu Chauhan has said that they will continue to oppose the implementation of the Sadashiv Commission in the past.

Speaking to reporters during a visit to the Sri Muruga matha here, he said he was confident that our community would not be wronged.

“I don’t know what our Union Minister Narayana Swamy has said, but our decision will continue. I am the Minister of State, he is the Union Minister, I have not heard his statement and I will speak to him,” he said.

“The anti-cow slaughter law was a big decision of our government. The idea is to open a gaushala in each district. We have started to search places for the gaushalas. We started the first Animal Aid Centre in the country which is receiving more than 10,000 calls a month. The Pashu Sanjeevini scheme, ambulance and veterinarians have all been appointed at the centres,” Chauhan said.
