What will happen if someone violates bio-bubble in IPL?

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) pacer KM Asif, hit the headlines, on Thursday, Oct 1 for allegedly breaching the bio-secure bubble protocols. It was reported that he misplaced his hotel room key and went to the reception to get a replacement.
However, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan eventually cleared out that Asif had gone to a separate area in the lobby which caters to the players, where the staff are being tested regularly for Covid-19.
Considering the condition under which the on-going IPL 2020 is being played, a notification has been sent to all the eight participating franchises by the BCCI, stating that a player will have to undergo a six-day quarantine for an ‘unauthorised departure’ from the bubble.
On a second offence, he will be suspended for one match and a third violation would lead to his removal from IPL. If a franchise allows “any person into bio-bubble”, it’ll be fined ₹1 crore at first offence and a point will be deducted at second offence.
In an unlikely but possible scenario when a team is unable to field a playing XI as less than 12 players are available, the BCCI will try to reschedule and if that is not possible, the match would be deemed lost.
Teams also face a BCCI inquiry in case of repeated violations of health and safety calls put in place for the event taking place amid the pandemic.
