After US Capitol riot, several major tech platforms acted against President Donald Trump. From Twitter to PayPal, more than a dozen companies have placed unprecedented restrictions on Trump

Besides Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitch blocked Trump’s account on their platforms, indefinitely.

Reddit banned DonaldTrump’s subreddit group, while Apple, Amazon and Google moved to ban Parler, which was allegedly used by Trump’s supporters.

As reported by Tech Crunch, Snap locked the president’s account late Wednesday following the events on Capitol Hill and Facebook on Wednesday pulled down a video from Trump that it considered was promoting violence. Later, that policy eventually extended into a 24 hour ban of his account

On Thursday, Shopify announced that it was removing the storefronts for both the Trump campaign and Trump’s personal brand.
