Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has featured on Forbes list of world’s 100 most powerful women at 41st position. Sitharaman is the first woman to hold the finance and earlier, defence, portfolios full-time in India

HCL Technologies Chairperson and India’s richest woman, Roshni Nadar Malhotra, has been ranked 55th on the Forbes list. Nadar Malhotra is the daughter of HCL founder Shiv Nadar, and took over the HCL Technologies chairperson’s role from him in July 2020. She is responsible for all strategic decisions for the $8.9 billion IT major.

India’s richest self-made woman billionaire Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, the 67-year-old Chairperson of Biocon, has been featured on the 68th position on the list.
