Sullia: “Who is the JD(S) party to demand disciplinary action against B Janardhan Poojary?” questioned district Congress president Harish Kumar.

He was speaking in response to the query by the reporters in connection to JD(S)’s demand to initiate disciplinary action against Mr Poojary. Although JD(S) is a coalition partner, its advice is not required for issues within the Congress, he said.

Mr Poojary is a national leader and I will not respond to his statements. We only take notice of the statements given by the district level leaders, explained Mr Kumar. He further informed that that Congress candidate for the Dakshina Kannada constituency may be announced on March 20th.
