Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Shruti Modi’s lawyer, Ashok Saraogi, has recently blamed Imtiaz Khatri for the alleged ‘drug supply’ in the possible drug link of the case.

According to India Today, Ashok Saraogi said, “A few days ago, an MLA from Mumbai (Ram Kadam) took the name of Imtiaz Khatri. I also made an enquiry about a Khatri from Bandra. If he is the same Imtiaz Khatri, then he is a big shot. He is well connected in Bollywood”

“If Imtiaz Khatri belongs to the same Khatri family, then they were also named in the Maharashtra irrigation scam. The CBI should call all those who could be involved in the case, whether it’s me or any Imtiaz Khatri,” he added

On the other hand, film distributor, Prahsant Sambharangi has also said that In order to find out who is involved in the drug racket from Bollywood and sandalwood, Police must investigate those who went to Imtiaz Khatri’s birthday party in Mumbai in 2017.

Imtiaz Khatri is the son of a Mumbai builder and also a popular name among Bollywood celebs and politicians.

Imtiaz is a well-known builder and has his own company named INL infrastructure. In 2017, he  started another company named ‘VVIP Universal entertainment’. He is often spotted with Bollywood celebs in parties and is one of the best friends of Sooraj Pancholi

It is alleged that he is the one who supplies drugs to both Bollywood and Sandalwood. He has also supplied drugs to Rhea and Sushant Singh Rajput. Khatri has contacts with several high level politicians and celebrities.

However, the drug connection between Bollywood and sandalwood is yet to be investigated by Police officials.
