Who is Roshni Nadar, new Chairperson of HCL Technologies?

The country’s richest woman Roshni Nadar Malhotra on Friday, July 17, became the first woman to head a listed Indian IT company as she took over as the Chairperson of HCL Technologies
Born in 1982,Roshni is the only child of HCL founder, Shiv Nadar and Kiran Nadar. She graduated from Northwestern University, Illinois and did her MBA from US’ Kellogg School of Management
Roshni Nadar Malhotra has been the executive director and CEO of HCL Corporation, vice chairperson of the board of HCL Technologies, and trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation
She is also the chairperson of VidyaGyan, a leadership academy for the economically underprivileged, meritorious, rural students of Uttar Pradesh.
Roshni Nadar is also passionate about wildlife and conservation. She established The Habitats Trust in 2018, which aims to work toward protecting India’s natural habitats
Roshni has featured in “The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women” list compiled and released by Forbes from 2017 through 2019. She has a net worth of Rs 31,400 crore.
