Mangaluru: Leader of Opposition in the legislative council, Kota Srinivas Poojary on Monday, March 4 questioned that why are the Congress and JDS leaders suspecting the airstrikes conducted by the Indian Air for on Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) training camp.

Addressing presspersons at Circuit House he said that while the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) has admitted that the Indian Air force had carried out air strikes which claimed hundred of terrorists the Congress leaders are asking for the evidence for the airstrike.

Congress and its leaders are sympathising upon terrorists instead of worrying about the safety of the nation, he alleged.

He further informed “The government had directed the officials to set up 16,000 pure drinking water units across the state but it has not been implemented anywhere so far. The government is not even bothering to constitute a House Committee to probe it, therefore the BJP had decided to form a committee and probe the irregularities.”

He further added that the state government should soon take up measures to implement the centre’s ‘Pradhan Mantri Krishi Samman Yojana’ so that it would be easy for the farmers to apply for the Krishi Samman Yojana and enjoy its benefits.
