Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah joining the chorus to attack the central government over the delay of flood relief said that the Prime Minister is showing hatred towards Karnataka.

Taking to twitter Siddaramaiah wrote “More than 60 days since parts Karnataka suffered from floods. No shelter, nothing to eat, cattle dying, crops lost – but the response from PM Narendra Modi is missing.”

He further quizzed, “Why this hatred towards Karnataka? What are our 25 MPs from BJP Karnataka doing?”

Siddaramaiah’s comment comes after PM Modi tweeted, “Spoke to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Ji regarding the flood situation in parts of the state. Agencies are working with the local administration to assist the affected. Centre stands ready to provide all possible further assistance that may be required.”

We from Karnataka Congress had written a letter to Narendra Modi, requesting to meet him when he had come to Bangalore on the day when Vikram Lander was supposed to land. He did not meet us. Even CM BS Yediyurappa is scared to talk to him about flood situation. How to resolve this then?” Siddaramaiah had tweeted on Monday, September 30.

BJP high command has clipped the wings of Yediyurappa. His own party members are harassing him. They are not allowing him to discuss about the burning state issues also. I feel sad seeing Yediyurappa’s position,” he said in another tweet.
