Mysuru: Former Chief Minister and Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader Siddaramaiah on Monday informed that there is no cabinet expansion or reshuffle proposed in the coalition Government headed by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy following both the parties facing debacle in the recently concluded Lok Sabha election.

Addressing presspersons here he said that the vacant slot in the cabinet following the demise of CS Shivalli will be field. “One cabinet post of Congress and two posts of JD(S) have to be filled. However, Congress will fill its seat in the cabinet and JD(S) has to take its decision.”

He further added ” Ramesh Jarakiholi will not quit Congress at any cost. Sudhakar and R Ashok meeting at SM Krishna’s residence was just a coincidence. ”

Speaking on the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) hacking he said “I still have doubts over EVMs, but we accept the mandate of the people. I don’t know why Congress lost in Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha Constituency. We will hold a discussion with this regard with the party workers from the grassroots level.”

Meanwhile, responding to State BJP President B S Yeddyurappa’s statement that state government will collapse on June 1, Siddaramaiah tweeted that will Yeddyurappa resign if the government doesn’t collapse on June 1.

In another tweet, he said: @BSYBJP (Yeddyurappa) claims to form the govt in spite of not having the number. This is not a new drama but this is continuously misleading the public. Mr. @narendramodi bowed to the constitution but in which article has the constitution given the right for @BJP4India to destabilize our govt.
