Will honestly fulfill expectations of leadership: Somanna on being chosen to Modi’s cabinet

Senior BJP leader and Former Karnataka Minister V Somanna has pledged to serve with integrity as he joins the Narendra Modi cabinet, which will be sworn in this evening. Somanna expressed his commitment to meeting the expectations of party leadership, irrespective of the portfolio he is assigned.

“Our party gave me an opportunity from Tumkur, and I have fulfilled various responsibilities given to me by the party. I thank them and the people of Tumkur, and the workers and leaders of both BJP and JD(S),” Somanna stated, reflecting on his political journey after winning the Tumkur Lok Sabha seat.

Speaking to reporters in New Delhi after meeting PM Modi, Somanna noted the Prime Minister’s friendly manner and his advice on working towards party goals. Emphasizing his readiness to fulfill Modi’s expectations, Somanna highlighted his focus on ensuring government benefits reach all citizens equally.
