Will meet my fans again: Rajinikanth

Mumbai: Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth today said he would meet his fans again stepping up expectations about the possibility of his entry into politics.

After telling his fans last month that his entry into politics was in the hands of God even while asking them to prepare the ground for a war, he said he will meet his fans in the coming days.

Arriving here after winding up shoot for the first schedule of his upcoming Tamil flick “Kaala,” in Mumbai, he said he was very much satisfied about the work done so far.

Speaking to reporters at the airport he said the next leg of the shoot for Kaala will begin soon.

Rajinikanth at the session with his fans last month had asked them to prepare the ground for a war, saying they would have to assemble when the battle was fought.

In the olden days, he said, kings seldom maintained standing armies but the men turned up when duty called, he said.

“When war comes they will come to the rescue of their motherland. I have a profession, work, duty and so do you. Go to your places, do your duty, take care of your vocation. Let us face the war when it comes,” he had said.

The Kablai star had told his fans that joining politics was in God’s hands. He had said that they should not be disappointed if he did not come to politics.He had said that if he were to join politics he would keep at bay those eyeing politics as an avenue for making money.
