Will quit if Valmiki community is not provided 7.50% reservation: Sriramulu

Gadag: Minister Sriramulu on Sunday, November 3 that he would come out of the government if Valmiki community was not provided 7.50% reservation in two months.

Addressing a meeting to review preparations for Valmiki fair at the Valmiki Mutt in Rajanahalli of Harihar taluk, Sriramulu said, “The government should provide 7.50% reservation for Valmiki community; otherwise I don’t want any power.”

“I will make it clear that I don’t want to be in power if there is no reservation for my community. I will launch a struggle for securing reservation facility,” he added.

“The Prime Minister has released Rs 2,000 cr under National Rural Health Mission, but this fact has never been publicized. Watsapp, Facebook, Twitter are all used by people to present the truth as lies and lies like truth,” he said calling upon people to do deeds that will facilitate in growth of all.
