Wings Book My Cab, India’s First Car Rental, Tourism Application in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Wings Book My Cab, India’s leading car rental and taxi service provider announced the launch of the country’s first ever Car Rental and Tourism App at a Press Conference held here on Tuesday. The app is ready to use and is downloadable free of charge from both the Apple AppStore and the Google PlayStore.
Announcing the launch, Arun Kharat, MD, Wings Travels Management Pvt. Ltd. said, “When we acquired LiveMinds Solutions Pvt Ltd earlier last year, we had a single minded commitment to offer products that suit the changing needs of today’s urban commuter. Our latest App comes as a relief to commuters who wish to avail car rental services on an hourly package basis for commutes within a city or between cities, thereby augmenting tourism at large along with transparency and ease of use. This is also marks the launch of car rental services in Bengaluru, Pune and Mumbai. We will soon roll out the services PAN India.”
The app is a user friendly tool. Once downloaded to a smartphone device, one needs to complete a one-time registration with an email ID and phone number. Once registered, the app automatically detects the user’s current location, which can be manually adjusted by the user by either the drag drop option or Google autosuggest option. The app allows the user to select packages based on city, taxi, airport, railway station, intracity or intercity hourly packages as a first step.
