Winter Session of Karnataka Legislature to Start from Nov 13 in Belagavi

Belagavi: Suavrna Vidhana Soudha in Belagavi is all set to host 11 day long winter session of Karnataka state legislature from November 13. This is the last session of the state legislature for current state government in Karnataka and the opposition BJP is expected to attack the government by listing the failures, alleged corruption scandals of the government reported during the past 4.5 years. Meanwhile, ruling Congress party is expected counter the attack by listing its achievements made during its tenure.
Opposition BJP is very likely to raise the issue related to mysterious death of DYSP Ganapathi and alleged role of the minister KJ George in the death of the police officer. Meanwhile, JDS is also planning to raise the issues of the farmers, crop damage, farmers’ suicide incidents and others.
Important bills including Kambala, KPME Amendment Bill 2017, Anti superstitious bill, bill to regularize farmers dwelling places and others are expected to be tabled in the session.
