Woman burnt to death in accidental fire

Bantwal: A 40-year-old woman was burnt alive while her mother suffered injuries in an accidental fire that erupted at their house at Kavala Mooduru in Bantwal taluk in the wee hours of Sunday, October 28.
The deceased has been identified as Revathi.
The woman and her mother were both asleep when the incident took place. It is suspected that a short circuit might have triggered the fire mishap.
A case has been registered with Punjalakatte police.
