Woman, daughter shot at in Uttar Pradesh

Muzaffarnagar (UP): A 30-year-old woman and her daughter were injured after some miscreants allegedly opened fire on them over old enmity at Kulhedi village, police said today.

The incident occurred yesterday under when some miscreants entered their house and allegedly started fired on them for giving information about a criminal to the police, Superintendent of police Ombir Singh said.

The injured were shifted to a hospital in a serious condition, he said, adding, the police were searching for the miscreants.
