Woman ends life after being blackmailed over obscene photos

A 23-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide after she was purportedly blackmailed by an Instagram user over obscene photos.
A case in this regard was filed with police after the victim, a resident of Shiralakoppa town of Shikaripur taluk had confided with her father about the blackmail.
She however killed herself by hanging from the ceiling fan.
The complaint states that the accused threatened to upload morphed photos of the woman on social media and blackmailed her into sharing an obscene video of herself.
