Covid 19: Woman from Bantwal’s Kasba becomes DK’s third casualty

Mangaluru: A 67-year-old woman from Bantwal’s Kasba, who had tested positive for coronavirus breathed her last at Wenlock hospital in the district on Thursday, April 30.
This is the third casualty in Dakshina Kannada . The previous two casualties too were from Bantwal.
The woman was admitted to the Wenlock hospital with respiratory problems on April 18 where she tested postive for coronavirus. It is gathered that she had availed treatment from at a private clinic in Bantwal before being admitted to Wenlock hospital.
Till date 22 persons have died in Karnataka of coronavirus infection.
