Bengaluru: Woman from Brahmavar ends life after killing her daughter

Bengaluru: A Brahmavar-based woman killed her three-and-a-half-year-old daughter and later killed herself in RR Nagar, Bengaluru on Thursday, June 30.

The deceased have been identified as Deepa (31) and her daughter Ria.

Deepa had married software engineer Adarsh in 2017 and the couple was living in an apartment in RR Nagar.

It is said that Deepa was suffering from stomach aches for the past few days and was often depressed because of her illness.

She killed her daughter by strangulating her with a dupatta and later killed herself by hanging from the ceiling.

A death note was also recovered.  “Nobody is responsible for it. I just felt life is full of s***. I am sorry mom and Divya love you Shona,” the note read.

A case has been registered.
