Woman jumps to death with 7-year-old daughter

Bengaluru: A woman jumped off the 20th floor of her apartment along with her seven-year-old daughter after a fight with her husband in Puttenahalli.

The deceased are identified as Jyothi P and her daughter Shabuna.

It is gathered that Jyothi and her husband Pankaj were married for 12 years. While Pankaj had a hardware shop in Ashok Nagar, Jyothi was into modelling.

Pankaj allegedly frequently fought with Jyothi as he suspected her of having an illicit affair. According to police, on Sunday night, the couple fought again and Pankaj left the house in a huff.

Upset over the same, Jyothi along with her daughter jumped from 20th floor of the apartment on Monday, August 5 evening. Police said that she had recorded a video before committing suicide.

A case in this regard with the Puttenahalli police.
