Woman raped in Ballia by 2 youths

Ballia (UP): Two youths forcibly entered the home of a 20-year-old woman and after finding her alone allegedly raped her in Ballia city area, police said today.

The woman was alone in her residence yesterday, when Vikky and Bharat – in their mid-20s – entered the house and raped her, Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar said.

Kumar said they threatened her of consequences if she disclosed the incident to anyone. An FIR has been registered in the matter and attempts were on to arrest the accused. The woman was yet to be medically examined.
