Yadgir: Police officials have arrested four persons in Yadgir district on Monday after a video of women in Karnataka being stripped naked and beaten by a gang of men went viral.
It is said the woman was waiting at a bus stop when she was abducted by the gang and was assaulted. The men beat her up with sugarcane sticks as she begged them to let her go.
The miscreants used the mobile torchlight and vehicle’s headlight to shoot the video.
Sources claims, the incident took place a year ago and police are yet to trace the woman. If the woman is willing to file a complaint, Shahapura police will take up a Suo motu case and continue the probe.
