Bengaluru: A woman was arrested by Yeshwantpur police for pouring boiling oil on her husband after she suspected that he was having an extramarital affair.
The accused is identified as Padma (36), a resident of Yeshwantpur.
Reportedly, Padma accused Manjunath of cheating and when the tussle between the couple escalated she poured boiling oil on his face and chest on Sunday, February 9 morning. The couple has been married for nine years.
Following the incident, the neighbours rushed to the scene and took Manjunath to the hospital.
