This incident will undoubtedly rank among the top three mask-related incidents that have been widely distributed online since 2020.

A woman on a Delta Air Lines flight was caught on camera abusing an elderly guy who was eating without a mask. The woman was also without a mask, which was amusing.

Yes, a woman without a mask assaulted an elderly man for eating without one.

According to Atlanta Police, the woman, Patricia Cornwall, was arrested by the FBI once the plane landed in Atlanta.

Patricia is seen swearing and yelling at the old man who is seated in the video. He addresses her as Karen and instructs her to take a seat.

Karen is a slang term or a disparaging epithet for women who believe they are entitled to certain things.

While other people encourage her to take a seat, she hits an elderly guy, leading an attendant to hold her. As an attendant pulls Patricia away, the elderly guy says, “You’re going to jail.”

“Put your mask on,” she yells at the man and tells a crew member with a trolley to order the man to do the same.

The woman was arrested as the plane landed at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, according to reports.

“Based on the statements gathered and visible evidence, officers detained Ms Cornwall and contacted the on-call FBI agent,” the police stated.

He further added, “The officers then relocated with Ms Cornwall to the domestic Atlanta Police precinct where FBI agents responded and took custody of Ms Cornwall,”

Following the event, the airlines issued a statement stating that disorderly behaviour will not be tolerated.

“Situations like these are rare for the vast majority of our customers and Delta has zero-tolerance for unruly behavior at our airports and aboard our aircraft,’ the airline stated,” read the statement.
