Won’t give up Mandya seat to Congress: HDK

Shivamogga: If Nikhil Gowda wants to contest the Lok Sabha polls from Mandya constituency, then there is no point of changing the constituency said  Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Sunday.

Addressing pressperson at the helipad in Shivamogga city, Kumaraswamy said the JDS party has been representing Mandya in Lok Sabha for the past many years and therefore the would field its candidate from Mandya this year as well.

He further said that their party has a very strong rapport with people of the constituency. So the party would field its candidate from Mandya only. 

The JDS party would not give up Mandya seat to Congress under any circumstances, said Kumaraswamy when question what if fields Congress candidate from Mandya.
