Kalaburgi: Deputy Chief Minister Govind Karjol stated that workers and migrants wishing to come to the State should come at their own expense.

Speaking at a meeting of district-level officials here Saturday, May 2, he stated that the Central government has permitted inter-State and inter-district travel so those wanting to return to the State can do so.

He added that the State government has formed a team of 11 officials for this purpose.

He further stated that the State government will not be arranging special buses for those returning, however, they can arrange a bus if there are a large number of people coming to a single place with the cost of the travel borne by the travellers themselves.

All those returning must be stopped and screened at State’s borders and also be kept in home quarantine, instructed Karjol to the officials.
