World War II era’s unexploded bombs era found in Manipur

Manipur: Several unexploded bombs and 43 empty cases of bombs have been found in a residential area in Manipur’s Moreh
Sources claim, the bombs were discovered while an excavator was levelling a plot of land for construction of a house at Lhangnom Veng area in Moreh town
The house owner who discovered the bombs immediately informed Moreh police, the team reached the area and recovered the bombs
27 pieces of unexploded bombs, 43 empty cases of bombs and 15 empty boxes were discovered during the digging of earth from the area.
